There is no account, so there is almost nothing to collect.
Sonde has no sign-up, no profile, no newsletter, no analytics and no advertising. You can connect a wallet, but a wallet is not an account: it hands the site a public address and nothing else. This page is short because the honest answer to most privacy questions here is "nothing", and where that is not the answer, it says exactly what happens instead.
In your browser
Three keys in local storage, and no cookies at all.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts. It keeps three things on your device, all in local storage: your Battles record, the sides you have taken, under sonde.battles.v1; which wallet you last connected, under sonde.wallet.rdns, so that returning to the site does not reopen the wallet prompt; and, if you set one, the Polymarket account address you asked it to read, under sonde.wallet.account. None of the three is sent to us on its own, and clearing your site data deletes all of them for good. That is also why none of it follows you to another device.
On the server
Requests, briefly, and nothing tied to a person.
The server keeps market data in memory for up to a few minutes so that a refresh does not turn into a fresh round of upstream calls. Alongside that, three things are worth naming precisely:

A wallet address you look up is a public identifier on a public ledger, and the positions shown are published by Polymarket. Typing one here does not tell us it is yours, and we make no attempt to find out. Connecting one is different in exactly one respect, and it is worth naming: the address then appears in this server's request logs beside your IP, which is a link that looking one up by hand does not create. Your pUSD balance is not part of that: it is read by your own wallet, directly from the chain, and never passes through this server. If you would rather keep the two apart, look the address up on the Smart money page instead of connecting.

02 · Your wallet
The only thing that signs
Your wallet extension sees what you do here in the way any site sees it: the address you approve, the network you are on, and any order you are asked to sign. Where trading is switched on, the signed order goes from your browser straight to Polymarket. It never passes through this server, which is why this server can never hold your trading credentials.
03 · Google Fonts
Two typefaces
The page loads Geist and Instrument Serif from Google's font CDN, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google sees your IP address. No other third-party asset is loaded.
04 · Anthropic
Only if you ask
When the analyst leg is switched on and you press the button, the market's public data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the read. Nothing about you goes with it.
05 · The host
Ordinary server logs
The site runs on a hosting provider that records requests (IP, path, timestamp) as any web server does, under their retention policy.
The rest
Rights, children, changes.
- Your rights. Because there is no account and nothing is stored against your identity, there is normally no personal data of yours to export or erase. Where applicable law gives you rights over the request logs described above (access, erasure, objection), write to the contact address published in the site's repository and the operator of this site will handle it.
- Legal basis. The limited processing above rests on the legitimate interest of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. No profiling, no automated decisions about you, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers, because there is nothing to sell.
- Children. The site is not directed at children, and prediction markets are not for them. It requires no personal data from anyone, of any age.
- Changes. If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
- Contact. the contact address published in the site's repository. See also the terms of use.
